Our Mission, Vision and Strategy

Our Mission-  WELL Africa is a Nonprofit Organization created to provide a long-term and sustainable solution to the issue of child slavery and the poverty that causes it.

Our Vision- We are using an innovative approach to educate and empower children, farmers, women, and communities in the Ivory Coast, the cocoa capital of the world. We strive to break the vicious poverty cycle to create a new one, a cycle of prosperity.

Our Strategy- Our strategy relies on strong ties, collaboration, and partnerships built over the years with farmers, communities,  Government officials , and other key players in the industry to achieve the biggest possible impact.  For us, collaboration is the new leadership and mutual trust, the backbone of our action.

Our Work

We believe in the liberating power of education as a way to unlock human potential and ingenuity. Education is the ultimate way forward to open doors of opportunities to the children and the communities in which they live.

Schools for Children

We built our 1st primary school in 2014 and have replicated that model to create similar structures that offer a safe and clean environment to learn in.

School Material Distribution

School Material Distribution

We ensure that the burden of the cost of education is not on parents or guardians alone. We want to make education more affordable.

Teacher Housing

Teacher Housing

We provide housing for teachers so they can travel to the remote villages most at risk for child trafficking. In return, government can send certified teachers to our schools.

Microfinance

Microfinance

We offer business training and microfinance loans for those who desire to become self relient. We are currently constructing an Entrepreneurship Center in Abidjan.

Womens Empowerment

Womens Empowerment

We seek to empower women and thus improve gender equality in the Ivory Coast, a country that is far behind on the issue, especially in rural places.
